Apply for an energy label?

Anyone who sells or rents out a property will inevitably deal with an energy label. At the time of transaction (sale or private rental), a property must have a valid energy label. The seller or landlord is legally responsible for this requirement.
The energy label indicates how energy-efficient the property is. The label rating is determined based on the primary fossil energy consumption, expressed in kWh per m² per year.

The method used to determine the energy label changed as of 1 January 2021. From that date onwards, energy labels can only be requested and issued based on the NTA 8800 methodology.
This is carried out by a qualified and certified advisor working for an accredited organisation. The advisor prepares the energy label based on an on-site inspection of the property and registers the label in the national EP-online database.

If you would like to have an energy label prepared, you can easily do so by completing the form below. The cost is €349 including VAT for residential properties up to 1,000 m³.
After submitting the form, you will receive several appointment options, or someone from Homekeur will contact you to schedule the appointment.
